Canoe Club Entertainment

The Canoe Club has featured live entertainment 363 days a year during the 5 years we have been open!

 We have the unusual distinction of presenting live acoustic music six days a week from 7 to 10. In most cases, the music consists of solo guitar (classical, Latin or jazz); piano (generally jazz standards with some Beatles/Billy Joel selections); piano-vocal jazz duo, and a myriad of other combinations. Almost invariably, the music is relatively subtle - of a low decibel nature - so as not to interfere with a normal dining experience.  Occasionally we are pleased to present a nationally touring artist, but we generally draw upon the remarkable pool of high caliber, locally based musicians.

 Marko the Magician has performed tableside for five years at the Canoe Club, almost every Monday from 5:30 to 8:30.  His close-up prestidigitation especially mesmerizes adults (even cynical ones), but entire families enjoy his magic.

 The Canoe Club has added a new wrinkle recently by introducing a full R&B band for dancing (mostly a 40 and over crowd!) one Saturday a month from 10 until closing.
